Bang Bang Broccoli (air fryer or oven)

Crispy, spiced panko-crusted bang bang broccoli, drizzled with sriracha, served with a creamy 5-spice peanut satay sauce for dipping. Made in the air fryer for the ultimate crunch! But if you don't have an air fryer, there are also oven instructions below.

Simply coat your broccoli in a 5-spice-seasoned chickpea flour batter, coat in panko, spray with a little oil and air fry for 12 minutes for a perfectly golden finish.

These are such a satisfying snack, starter or side and are great for sharing with friends.

Method

  1. Pre-heat the air fryer to 180°C, or if using an oven, pre-heat to 200°C fan.

  4. Meanwhile, make your sauce by mixing together peanut butter, rice vinegar, sesame oil, coconut milk, sriracha, 5 spice, sugar and soy sauce until creamy.
  5. Slice your spring onions for garnish.
  6. To serve, top the broccoli with a drizzle of sriracha, spring onions and sesame seeds, serve with the satay sauce and enjoy!
