Hi, I'm Cassidy and welcome to Euphoric Vegan! Since 2013 this blog has been a place for me to share my passion of food. I'm a British vegan having recently graduated with a BSc (Hons) in nutrition and I am now a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). I love showing to people that healthy, nutritious food can also be delicious and sharing that message is one of my goals. The recipes on my site incorporate my view about the importance of healthy food; as famously quoted by Hippocrates “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” If you have any nutrition related questions, I'd love to help, email me and I'll do to reply ASAP!

I have been meat free since I was 10 and vegan for just over 3 years now, with my interest in healthy food stemming from my taking part in competitive swimming from the ages of 9-17, as it was important for me to be mindful of what I ate to ensure maximum energy levels for training and competing. My love of food grew during my families' summer holidays travelling throughout Europe, I have visited around 20 countries, allowing me to taste and experience the cuisine of other cultures & inspiring me to recreate these flavours. My favourite country to visit is Italy, so many of my recipes have an Italian influence and whilst I have yet to visit as a vegan, I hope to go back in the near future!
