Healthy Eton mess (Vegetarian)

Just because you're eating healthy or maybe trying to lose weight, it doesn't mean that you have to cut out all sweet treats. By substituting some ingredients in classic desserts you can still have a tasty and healthy treat. This time I made 'Eton mess', by switching up the full fat cream for Greek yogurt, it significantly reduces the calories and fat content of the dish and honey acts as a slow releasing energy. I personally prefer this version to the full fat, it tastes much fresher and you can really enjoy the taste of the strawberries. To make the dessert you simply have to cut up the strawberries and then arrange how you like.

  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Meringue nests (1 per person)
  • Greek Yogurt (200ml per person) 
  • Honey (Manuka if possible)
